Update to the Congregation from the Session

Motions made and approved by Session at the meeting of
Motions September 20, 2009

1.    Approved the Finance operating statements of July 2009.

2.    Approved a mail out to the congregation requesting funds to offset the PNC expenses.

3.    Approved the session supporting the Youth to do outreach mission projects

4.    Approved a church camping trip in the fall

5.    Approved the Mission Outreach Ministry Group the have a church sponsored mission trip to Nicaragua in February 2010.

6.    Approved receiving Blue Anderson, Lauren Bolander, Austin Campbell, Grace Gore, Andrew Marquis, Kelly McCain and Andrew Smith as members through confirmation and Jim Swaim as member with reaffirmation of faith.

7.    Approved a program titled “Maintain your Brain” in cooperation with the Winter Park Library staring October 1.

8.     Approved Abbie VanDenberg as director of Children’s Ministries.

9.     Approved temporarily suspending the youth program “Hands for Hire”.

10.     Approved the continuing education expenses for the youth director to be paid from the youth budget
