We are restarting the activity to show our support for the men and women of the United States Army and US Marines, who are serving “in harm’s way” in Afghanistan. We will supply a standard US Postal Service flat rate box and ask you to fill it with items not readily available to these personnel with a note expressing your support and encouragement for them. Return the box you have filled to the church, along with the $12.00 flat rate postage fee, and we will complete the customs form and deliver the boxes to the Post Office. The boxes and a suggested list of items to place in the box and items to avoid placing in the box are available in the Narthex. If you have a friend or relative who is deployed, you may send the box to them, otherwise they will be sent to unit commanders for dispersion to members of their unit.
