Update to the Congregation from the Session

Motions made and approved by Session at the meeting of November 15, 2009

1. Approved the Finance operating statements of September and October 2009.
2. Approved a request from the Garden Committee for the return of $10,000 from The Foundation to the Garden Committee designated fund.
3. Approved Finance to borrow funds from the designated account for operating funds.
4. Approved a clothing drive on December 13 with youth participating.
5. Approved establishing a Welcome Ministry Group to be chaired by Linda Adkins
6. Approved an offering to be taken at the Christmas Concert on December 6
7. Approved developing a cook book as a fund raiser.
8. Approved moving the session meeting of December 20 to Monday,  December 14 at 7:00 pm.
9. Approve a Congregational meeting on December 13, 2009 at 10:30 am to elect new members to the Officer Nominating Committee and to dissolve the PNC.
