Update to the Congregation from the Session

Motions made and approved by Session at the meeting of December 14, 2009

1. Elected members to The Foundation: Helen Miller, class of 2010, Sarah Drummond and Kathy McLain, class of 2011 and Bob Kortz class of 2012 .

2. Approved reserving Saturday, February 6, 2010 for the wedding of Jill and Gary.

3. Approved the baptism of Rhys Von Strykul, son of Kelly and Jeremy Strykul, grandson of Sharon and Jack McGuire on December 27, 2009 at the 11:00 am service. Jenny Oelfke assisting Dr. Smith.

4. Approved Kelly McGuire Stryul and Kristen Sigle to be reinstated to the active role of FPCM.

5. Elected Bob Kortz as Clerk of Session for 2010.

6. Empowered the Finance Ministry Group to negotiate a loan for the Family Life Center

7. Approved presenting to the Congregation – after January 1, 2010 – information from Presbytery establishing a scholarship fund in Ed Peterson’s name due to Sue Peterson having been an employee of FPCM.

8. Approved Property MG to proceed with the sealing and striping of the 3 parking lots and the George street parking area

9. Approve replacing the disposer in the FLC Kitchen on the condition that the cost does not exceed $5500.00 plus 10%
