Hospitality

People say they have never seen a church eat as much as we do! We love to get together, welcome each other to worship and have fun as we celebrate the good works of our church family. While it seems like our committee spends most of its time in the kitchen, we love to create events that bring our congregation and the community together in Christ. At committee meetings once a month we review past events, plan upcoming programs and support other ministries in the church. Along with a team of enthusiastic volunteers, we look forward to serving the congregation, our community and Christ through our ministry.  If you like to gather around the kitchen table for fun and fellowship and get to know people in all different ministries, we invite you to become part of our team!

The Hospitality Ministry works hard to create a home for the FPCM family and visitors. Our ministry is supported by volunteers. Here are a few of our on-going needs:The Hospitality Committee works hard to create a home for all its members and visitors.Couples or friends in pairs to serve Sunday hospitality (time commitment: 4 hours; need: rotations on each Sunday) Men to climb ladders to hang Easter decorations and Christmas decorations in the sanctuary (time commitment – 1 hour to 4 hours; need: twice a year) Brownies, cookies or bar cookies (time commitment – 2 hours to shop, bake and deliver the treats; need: once a month).
We are always open to event ideas and suggestions as well as
welcoming volunteers to join our fun. Please contact Liz Doyle for more information.
