New Beth Moore Study Started Up! January 26
The Beth Moore Bible Study Group will be tackling Beth’s brand new study on James after the first of the year. Come and learn about James, Jesus’ own brother, who started out as a skeptic. See how one glimpse of the resurrected Savior turned an unbeliever into a disciple. Bible scholars compare James to the prophet Amos. In other ways, James more closely resembles the Book of Proverbs than any other New Testament book. Topics in this study include: joy, hardship, faith, reversal of fortunes for rich and poor, wisdom, gifts from above, single-mindedness, the dangers of the tongue, humility, and prayer.
This eight-week study (plus an optional ninth video with a discussion between Beth and daughter Melissa) begins on January 26, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. The fee is $20 which includes the cost of the book and $5 to- wards the purchase of the DVD series. Sign up will be in the Narthex on January 15 and 22 between services. We have a great group of women who would love to have you join us.
